| In the proximity of the great classical music virtuoso Ignacy Paderewski’s estate, near the famous Ciężkowickie "Witches", among picturesque woods and crystal clear air, works Fruit and Vegetable Processing Plant "Dworek", producing healthy and tasty preserves. Its history dates back 1958, when thanks to the initiative of the Regional Horticultural-Apiarian Cooperative in Tarnów, in the buildings of an inactive distillery in Kąśna, Fruit and Vegetable Processing Plant was established. At first, the processing plant dealt with pickling of cucumbers. Within some time the production profile has been extended and nowadays the processing plant produces and provides for the market a broad assortment of fruit and vegetable products and ready-made dishes. |

The processing plant has been a private property since 1993 . The company products are known not only on the national market but also abroad: in the USA, Canada, Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Portugal, Spain and Russia. Pickled cucumbers, as well as other products, are produced on the basis of crystal clear, unchlorinated spring water, drawn from own source. For their aesthetic and taste values pickled cucumbers – a priority product of the processing plant – was a prize winner of the contest and was awarded with the Highest Quality Certificate of the Małopolska Province.
